Ms. Zaahirah Atchia, an award-winning leader from Mauritius, has been at the forefront of innovation and transformation. She has led Radio-Canada in Ontario since December 2021, marking her as the first woman from a diverse background in this role. Active in the cooperative movement and French-speaking community, she holds a national mandate as head of the EDI bubble within Regional Media. Ms. Atchia's leadership saw the launch of a new journalistic bureau in London in September.
