In our first interview, Brett sits down with Carey Nieuwhof who has been a pastor, teacher, & leadership guru for many years. They discuss God’s calling to change careers & fighting against simply going through the motions.
They also discuss what the Church can learn from her own response to the pandemic in retrospect. We may have adapted to meet the new challenges, but did we really innovate? This includes a discussion on the politicization of the Church.
To close the conversation, they discuss burnout; when the functions of life continue but the joy of life is gone. Carey shares his personal story of dealing with extreme burnout, how he recovered from it & how you can avoid it.
