About Natasha Benjamin:
Natasha Benjamin is the current Director of Marketing & Communications for Undergraduate Admissions at Rutgers University-New Brunswick and owner of her own social & marketing consulting practice.
Natasha launched her career just shy of Instagram's first birthday, weathering the social industry’s ebbs, flows, and strategically influencing social campaigns. Through critical cultural moments, she oversaw social media strategies to develop online communications within the B2B, B2C, tech, media, entertainment, and civic arenas working with clients from Essence Magazine, Travel Noire, Tribeca Film Festival, Coca-Cola, Salesforce, and more.
In turn, she takes her decade+ experience and educates the next generation of marketing professionals and entrepreneurs teaching across universities and business accelerator programs. During her tenure at New York University, she taught the graduate social media course and advised graduate students on their integrated communications research with topics ranging from media mergers and acquisitions to global social media consumer messaging.
As an accelerator instructor, she has led Black and women of color entrepreneurs in further developing their business marketing operations and strategic growth.
