Misbah ul Haq has recently been announced as the head coach and chief selector(and the batting coach too,technically) of the Pakistani cricket team with former head coach Waqar Younis joining in as the bowling coach. Misbah has also been given special permission to coach/mentor a PSL franchise, (something which the ex head coach Mickey Arthur was criticised for). Furthermore, he has also announced the team for his first assignment, that is Sri Lanka's visit to Pakistan later this month.
