Laura Kazan runs a FB group for California homeschool parents of middle and high school students whose kids are college-bound. (College includes 2 year, 4 year, and any other type of post-secondary path). She has a great team of experienced mods and admins and the goal of the group is to reduce fear and provide accurate information.

 

She is also the college advisor for an independent study charter school in Los Angeles County.

 

Laura is a former homeschooling parent whose son is now in College! She shares that she pulled her own son out of traditional school in 8th grade because she felt the system was not meeting her needs.
