"I feel like if we can understand scripture better before we walk in on Sunday, it's going to keep us more engaged." Once Jenna Violi joined a bible study group and she started to delve into scripture, her life was changed. Even more, the way that she viewed the mass changed and she started to really engage with what she was hearing. Now, Jenna brings this same love of the Gospel and relationship with Jesus to her high school students as a theology teacher as well as to the mass as a music minister and cantor. In this episode, I talk to Jenna about how she came to fall in love with scripture, what it's like to teach theology to girls in high school, and how she came to start her podcast, A Shower of Roses.
