As aspect of the mental health conversation that is often overlooked is: leadership. We focus so much on the individual and their emotional needs that we fail to take a look at what messages or treatment is coming from the top-down in their workplace, home life, team or church environment, or any situation that involves higher levels of authority. Leaders play a big role in creating a healthy or unhealthy emotional and mental ecosystem for the people they lead, and this is why we need to talk more about this. Today's episode will be helpful for leaders of all kinds and anyone who wants to better their influence in the lives of people.
