Leah fell in love with the theatre as a bright-eyed youngster, and while her first acting appearance on the stage wasn't until 2014 in Annie at her high school, it has always been the driving force behind her passionate, full-throttle approach to her work. She has since performed at every opportunity, from leading as Wednesday in The Addams Family (Oxley High School, 2016), ensemble work in Funny Girl (Tamworth Musical Society 2018), and more recently bringing to life the endearing Samireh in Phil and Cath Snitch's original musical The Persian Queen (BMEC Local Stages, 2020). She has also recently debuted her first play in the comedic Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon at Keystone and has justs ecured her dream role of starring as Belle, her first leading role since high school, with Orange Theatre Company. Leah is studying her final year of a Bachelor of Theatre/Media at CSU and is very excited to audition for her hopeful next degree in Musical Theatre Performance in Western Australia at WAAPA. She hopes that we all remember that in a world of uncertainty, we can always find escape in the unparalleled magic of theatre.
