#LeanAgile #Leadership is required for #SAFe to run. It ensures longevity, value, and individual growth. It's a way of leading by example; a core competency of the #Leanenterprise that contributes to #BusinessAgility. It enables #teams-- and individuals-- to become the best they can be, through constant #improvement and #learning.
#LeanAgile #Leadership comes about through the hierarchy of most #organizations. #Leaders have the #responsibility and #power to oversee #development, methods of work, and more. They're the ones that can start the change and the ones who can help it follow through. Through this, #LeanAgile #Leadership is key. They need to be at the helm of the ship that sails into change.
They have to: #Organize work around #valuepropositions, Spot the areas of overflowing work, Trim the fat of delays and invaluable work, Enable #motivation within #team members, and finally, #Cultivate a #culture of continuous #improvement and #learning.
As described in #SAFe, there are three dimensions to #LeanAgile #Leadership. These are: #Leading by #Example, #Mindset, and #Principles, and #LeadingChange. Leading by Example is beneficial wherein the #leader #develops trust in them by other #team members through modeling #desiredbehaviors. #Mindset and #Principles help instill the #LeanAgileculture, down to individual #actions and #opinions. Lastly, #LeadingChange enables the #leader to lead a #transformation by making changes in the #environment in which work occurs, providing everything individuals need to make the #transformation.
Like most things in #Agile, #LeanAgile #Leadership is more than something to do, it's a #mindset. It's a way of carrying yourself and your actions to be the leader of positive change.
