Leadership of Israel as they trekked through the desert during the Exodus was challenging, draining, and not for the faint of heart. Moses was God's man for the job, but Moses could not do it alone, he needed encouragement and to lean on others as much as anyone else would. We can learn a lot from the help he received from Aaron and Hur in Exodus 17, and the wise counsel from his father-in-law in Exodus 18.
