Outside of work, Cobin spends as much time as he can in the Cascade Mountains with his wife, Julie, and son, Wes, skiing, mountain biking, and exploring the backroads in their truck. Cobin is a longtime friend and medical school classmate who I’ve watched buck the traditions of medical training and practice for more than 20 years. We discuss the joys of part-time medicine, Cobin’s roundabout way of getting to his current dream schedule, how to get your organization to allow for alternative schedules, and some great talk about personal finance.
