Every follower of Jesus lives in and endures a tension. We serve a glorious king, Jesus. But we live in a fallen world. So we feel the tug of the world toward cynicism, vengeance or even withdrawal. But we also feel the tug of the kingdom, a yearning for the presence of God. This Sunday, we continue our current series, Putting On Christ, as we wrap our hearts around what it means to grow into the kind of people who are not shaken, people who are firmly planted in God.
