Working in the public sector around child welfare, education, and juvenile justice, I witnessed firsthand that "program planning" for kids and families was largely based on white values and beliefs. Much like corporate culture, solutions often stem from white/Christian values and beliefs. It's time to challenge that status quo by transforming inclusive cultures into responsive ones.
Leanne McEvoy is a non-linear experienced executive focused on all things people, systems, and driving sustainable change. For change to happen, we have to overcome the fear and all that goes with it. After leaving the corporate world and working in the public sector, Leanne got her Masters in Clinical Social Work and has applied the lenses of diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and social justice into her work. Leanne is a challenger of the status quo and is driven to change the world.
