In this week’s episode, the For Wales See Wales team are joined by former Plaid Cymru leader, Leanne Wood.

On the podcast, Leanne discusses her former career as a probation officer and how her time working with some of the most challenged members of society boosted her enthusiasm to stand for the Senedd. She also shares with the FWSW trio how she really feels about the rise of Reform in her home patch of Y Rhondda, divulging that she even sat in one of their meetings, bringing it to a halt.

Leanne takes Will, Mel and Robin back to 2015 to discuss the Leaders Debates which saw her go head-to-head with Nigel Farage on live TV, and recalls the pressure of being the only Welsh voice on a national platform.
