I remember going to a seminar and the room was filled with many others who paid tons of money. 

The format was an hour of teaching, and an hour of doing. 

You'd learn something, then go and implement. 

We did this consistently for the 2 days. 

During the breaks, everyone looked totally busy. 

Engaged. 

They were picking up their phones. 

I figured everyone was doing the work. 

When it came time for questions from the instructor, I realized only 10%-40% of people actually did the work. 

To me on the outside, they looked like they were taking action. 

They looked like they were doing the work.

Let this be a lesson. 

If you want to get ahead in life, you have to be willing to do the work and make it beyond step 2. 

That's how you become successful.
