Neil Archer has been playing organ and piano since 1975. As a kid, he used to struggle terribly reading music, and found writing it even more challenging. Even with private lessons, he found pretty quickly that it was a lot easier for him to listen to a song and work out the chords and melody in his head.

Once he sat down to play, Archer found that the piece was playable. Although he performed on some of the world's best cruise ships for nearly a decade he claims he still can't read music fluently.
