How can you tell who your real friends are? They are the ones who will tell you what you NEED to hear, not what you WANT to hear. Tough love is missing from much of our culture, especially in our relationships with our children. Love is doing what is right, not what is easy. This can be a hard pill to swallow, but so valuable.
