As Christians, Jesus is our Teacher.

Jesus taught that sound discernment protects against deception, requires vigilance, fruit-testing, righteous (not superficial) judgment, and a heart attuned to God's voice through obedience, prayer, and Scripture. It leads to choosing the narrow gate to life (Matthew 7:13-14) rather than being misled by wolves in disguise.
