This weekend was a rollercoaster! Mom and Dad had a first-aid class at Dad's work (sounds like they're training to be real-life superheroes!). Since they were busy learning how to bandage boo-boos and maybe even save lives, I got to stay at school with my teacher and all my friends. It was like a giant free-for-all playdate – even the older kids were there! They were super cool, letting me borrow their giant building blocks that were bigger than my head! We built a whole city together, complete with towering skyscrapers, winding roads, and a bustling pretend marketplace. I even got to be the fire chief of our make-believe fire station (don't worry, the only fires we fought were imaginary ones!).

Today at daycare was like a dream come true! The ball pit was calling my name, and let me tell you, diving into that mountain of colorful balls was pure joy. School again! Today started with a bit of a bump in the road. Teacher pulled me aside to talk about something that happened yesterday with another friend. Seems like I wasn't being the most awesome classmate. I don't exactly remember what went down, but it's definitely a reminder to keep those sunshine vibes radiating outwards! Luckily, things bounced back faster than a bouncy ball after that.

The ball pit was calling my name like a siren song, and let me tell you, diving into those colorful mountains of fun was pure joy. Learning time snuck up next, and it seems I'm a total rockstar with the alphabet! Those letters on the mat didn't stand a chance. Ugh, this morning wasn't the best. My nose wouldn't stop running, and it felt all stuffed up. Dad said it wasn't a monster living in there (even though it kind of felt like it!), just a silly cold. So, off we went to the doctor. Doctors are okay, I guess. They give you weird-tasting stuff, but at least they have cool toys in the waiting room. This time, I got a special prize – a yucky nose spray! It definitely doesn't taste like candy, but Dad says it will help me feel better. Three times a day, he says. I crinkled my nose just thinking about it.

At school, I was happy to see my friend Liam back in class. He looked a little pale yesterday, but today he seemed much better. But guess what? Now Sarah's staying home, sniffling and coughing just like I was. I hope she feels better soon too!

Lunchtime was a little different today. No yummy sandwiches or fruit salad from Mom. Instead, I had a big bowl of warm oatmeal. It was a bit bland, but it did fill my tummy and give me some energy for swim class.

Speaking of swim class, it's still not my favorite thing in the world. All that splashing and kicking makes me feel a little out of breath. But hey, I'm learning some cool stuff! Wow, today was a busy bee kind of day! It all started with the coolest adventure – swimming! Splashing around in the water is so much fun. I feel like a little fish, kicking my legs and trying to paddle with my arms. I'm not quite ready to win any swimming races yet, but I'm getting better every day.

Unfortunately, all that fun in the water might have come with a little hitchhiker – a runny nose! I hate feeling like I have a cold, but I guess that's just part of being a little person, right? One of my friends in class even caught it from me and had to stay home from school (absent). I hope they feel better soon! Even though I wasn't feeling my best, Dad still took me to school. Mom came along too, but only for a little while. She wanted to make sure I was comfortable and settled in (adjusted to a new environment) before she went to work.

School was still pretty awesome, even with my sniffles. I played with my friends, learned new things, and had the most delicious lunch that Mom packed for me (thanks, Mom!). When afternoon came, I was so happy to see Mom again when she came to pick me up.

Ugh, mornings! Today, it was a struggle to get out of bed. I guess yesterday's adventures left me feeling extra snuggly. But Dad wouldn't let me sleep in forever! He started his silly bird chirping routine, and before I knew it, the day had officially begun. After some cuddles with Mom, we headed to the kitchen for breakfast and prep for school. Speaking of school, guess what? Yesterday, I got the coolest upgrade – a brand new, super comfy seat for the front of Dad's motorbike. No more squeezing in the back for me! Being in the front seat is amazing. I get to see everything – the busy streets, the colorful houses, even the fluffy clouds floating by. It feels like I'm on a tiny adventure before the real adventure even starts at school!

Unfortunately, today's adventure almost started a little late. I woke up a bit later than usual, and by the time we got to school, breakfast was almost over! Thankfully, my super-nice teacher came to the rescue. She helped me gobble up the rest of my breakfast – yum! After that, it was milk time and then off to class.

Today's class was all about shapes! It was so cool to see my teacher use giant scissors to cut out all sorts of fun things – flowers, trees, even little houses! I can't wait to learn how to do that myself someday.

Lunchtime came next, and guess what? I got to enjoy the delicious lunch Mom packed for me. It was even better after the teacher helped me warm it up a bit. Thanks, teacher! With a full tummy, it was time for some playtime with my friends. We had a dino-tastic time chasing each other around and pretending to be fierce (but totally adorable) dinosaurs. It was so much fun roaring and stomping around the playground!

But all good things must come to an end, and soon it was nap time. My teacher, who seems to be an expert at everything (including lullabies!), gently rocked me to sleep. This time, something different happened. I usually wake up in the middle of my nap, but today, I slept all the way through! However, there was a little surprise waiting for me when I woke up. Oops! Let's just say there was a bit of an accident in my diaper. Don't worry, though. Mom and the teacher explained that these things happen sometimes, and it's totally normal for little kids like me.

After a quick cleanup, it was time for another fun class. Today, we learned a super important skill – how to clean up spills! My teacher showed us how to use a soft towel to wipe up water on the table. Then, the best part – we all got to try it ourselves! It was like magic! The water just disappeared with a few swipes of the towel. I felt so proud of myself for learning something new.

By the afternoon, the sky had turned a bit gray and it started raining. That meant a later pick-up time for me. When Mom finally arrived, she had a little chat with my teacher about all my adventures (and mishaps!) throughout the day. The teacher even told Mom how much I've improved! Apparently, I don't ask her to carry me around as much anymore, which makes me feel like a big, strong kid.

Dinner tonight was a delicious treat – my all-time favorite banana and avocado combo! After dinner, Dad and I took a little trip to the rooftop. It's always fun to see all the green plants growing up there, and maybe even catch a glimpse of one of the neighborhood cats. By the end of the day, I was completely wiped out! Time to snuggle up in bed and let Mom and Dad have some peace and quiet for a while.

Yesterday was a big day for a little guy like me! It was vaccination day, just like Mom promised. Now, I know shots might sound scary, but guess what? I was a total superhero! No tears, no fuss, just two little pricks (one in each arm and leg, to be exact) and I handled them like a champ. There was another kid there getting their shots at the same time, and let me tell you, they weren't as brave as me. They cried a whole lot, but hey, that's okay. We all have our moments, right?

After my big, brave moment, I got to hang out in the play area for a cool 30 minutes. It's like a reward for being such a trooper! While I was busy exploring all the fun toys, I met a bunch of new friends. Some of them were super nice and shared everything – blocks, cars, the whole shebang! Others, well, let's just say sharing wasn't their strong suit. They clung to their toys like they were gold, wouldn't let me even touch them. But hey, you win some, you lose some, right?

Last night, I was a little worried about getting a fever after those shots. Mom and Dad even warned me about it. But guess what? No fever in sight! Instead, we had a blast playing together. We played this fun game called "Shuttlecock kicking." It's where you have a feathered shuttlecock and you have to kick it back and forth with your feet. Apparently, I'm a natural! I kept running around chasing the shuttlecock, making Mom and Dad scramble after me. It was so much fun, and the best part? I wore them both out! After all that exercise, I slept like a rock the whole night. Not a single sniffle or cough – just sweet, peaceful sleep.

Speaking of yummy things, almost forgot to tell you about the amazing treat I got yesterday afternoon! Uncle Nhat came over and brought me a whole crab! Now, I may be little, but I know a delicious meal when I see one. Dad cooked it up perfectly, and then carefully took all the meat out for me to eat. Crab meat – wow! Let me tell you, it was like a party in my mouth. Every bite was a delicious explosion of sweet and savory flavors. It was absolutely the best. And guess what? Mom says it's super healthy too, full of calcium to help me grow big and strong. Sounds like a win-win to me!

Today was Sunday, and let me tell you, it was a busy day in the best way possible! The morning started off with a fun activity – making yogurt! Okay, so maybe Mom had already prepped things the night before, but that doesn't mean I didn't help! The coolest part was filling up the little containers with the yogurt mixture. At first, Mom and Dad were a little clumsy with the strings, but they got the hang of it quickly. And guess what? I was a super helper the whole time! No fussing, no crying, just patiently waiting for my turn (which never came, because apparently, yogurt-making isn't a one-person job!).

Speaking of teamwork, Dad and Uncle Linh finished building the grape trellis today! It looks super sturdy, like a little grape mansion in the making. Mom says it will take about 3 months for the grapes to grow big enough to eat. Three months? That feels like forever for a little guy like me, but the thought of picking those juicy purple grapes myself makes it all worth the wait. I can practically taste them already!

On a slightly less exciting note, I haven't been feeling my best lately. My nose has been a bit runny, and sometimes it gets all stuffy at night, which makes it hard to breathe. That makes me a little cranky sometimes, so I end up crying a bit. But don't worry, Dad's a superhero in his own right! He has this special tool that helps him get those pesky boogers out of my nose. It feels a little weird at first, but then I can breathe easy again and drift off to sleep soundly.

School! Wow, school! Today was my very first day, and let me tell you, it was a whirlwind of new experiences. Mommy packed the most amazing lunch last night (seriously, does she know how to make food smell this good?), and I gobbled down some yummy minced meat for breakfast. This morning was a bit wobbly though. Mom and Dad both came to walk me in, which was great, but when my teacher picked me up, I let out a wail that could probably be heard from the next town! Luckily, it only lasted about 30 seconds. Before I knew it, I was having a blast playing with all the new toys and faces in the classroom.

School is a lot different than staying at home with Mom and Dad. Here, everything seems to happen at a specific time. There's breakfast at 8:00 AM sharp, followed by a yummy cup of milk (which I mostly drank this time!), and then it's learning time! Today, we learned something super important – fire safety! Apparently, fire is a big no-no, and it can be really scary. I learned how to identify fire alarms and even practiced crawling low on the ground – like a tiny firefighter!

By lunchtime, all that learning and playing made me feel a little wiped out. When it was time for milk and nap time with the other kids, I just wasn't feeling it. My teacher, who seems super nice by the way (she smells like sunshine and cookies!), must have known because she picked me right up and gave me the best cuddle. We snuggled together for a while, and before I knew it, I was off to dreamland.

The afternoon brought more fun though! We played this cool game with flashcards that had pictures of animals on them. Guess how many new animal friends I made today? Three! There's a fluffy one called a chicken, a really loud one called a lion, and a super fast one called a deer. I can't wait to learn more about them tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, when Mom came to pick me up this afternoon, I was so excited I could barely contain myself! Apparently, being an official school kid comes with some pretty cool perks. My teacher gave me a brand new backpack, a bag to hold all my clothes (because apparently, even little me needs to be prepared!), and a whole new outfit that fits perfectly.

Back home, Dad and I wasted no time in getting down to some serious business – building with Legos! We have this awesome Lego table and chair set that I got when I was a tiny little bean, but I guess I had to wait until I turned one to be a master builder. We built the coolest tower ever, even though it did topple over a few times (but hey, that's all part of the learning process, right?).

After all that fun, my tummy was rumbling again, so I had a delicious dinner. Now, tucked safely in my bed, I'm feeling super sleepy (7:30 PM bedtime seems to be the new norm!). Good night everyone! Sudo is writing about their first birthday celebration! They were happy to receive many presents and celebrate with family in the countryside, even though it was hot. They missed taking more pictures but are looking forward to next year. Before the birthday, they had a joint birthday celebration for their grandparents, who live on different schedules. Unfortunately, Grandma couldn't eat cake due to her diet.

Back in the city, Sudo had a nice dinner with their family but could only eat rice cakes. They also shared exciting news about Mom's Stephania Erecta plant growing well, but a mishap with a strong fan caused some damage. Dad managed to save it, though.

Finally, Sudo is excited to go back to school tomorrow and see their friends and teachers again. They can't wait for the new adventures that await!

The day began ordinary, sunlight whispering an adventure. Yet, a surprise yawn ambushed me at school, leading to a cozy classroom nap under Miss's watchful eye. Laughter filled the afternoon as Grandma arrived, not to take me home, but to join in the fun with games and wild stories. Evenings had been different lately, with earlier bedtimes for extra work time for Mom and Dad. Though I cherished the extra playtime, a pang of missing their bedtime routines settled in. Today, however, reminded me that familiar comforts, like Mom's goodnight kiss and Grandma's playful spirit, were the heart of our happy home. It was a day of unexpected turns, reminding me that new experiences are wonderful, but appreciating the familiar makes them even sweeter.
