One of the ways Bible readers can grow in their appreciation of the Bible is by looking back to figures in church history. One such figure is John Calvin, a man who is either loved or hated. But rather than associating Calvin with abstract doctrines and theological debates, we should take some time to learn about the man behind the name. As we do that today, we'll see a man who spent his life upholding the Bible as the most important treasure given to God's people!
