Thank you, God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for showing us your power in the weakness of the cross. Teach us to rely on you alone and to live by the power of the Holy Spirit. We ask this through your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen
