Nicole Morris is the Director of the TI:GER Program and Professor in Practice at Emory School of Law. She shared with me a number of stories, both personal and professional about transitioning to teaching online courses. While things are happening at a rapid pace, she's trying to remain dynamic in how she approaches her teaching, and she makes sure that she shares her experiences with other professors, and listens to them for their own experiences and suggestions. It's important to remain flexible and be cognizant of the issues going on in the students' lives. And according to her, online teaching actually saved her house from burning down.
Remember, we may all be in seclusion, but we're in this together.
