Bham is the founder member and chairman of Johannesburg Muslim School, executive committee member of National Religious Leaders Council (Initiated By South Africans for Greater Liaison between Religious Groups and Government), and also an executive member of the United Ulama Council of South Africa (UUCSA). Moulana is also a founding member and director of ASRI (Auwal Socioeconomic Research Institute) which is a pluralist domestic public policy institute that conducts Applied Research, Prototyping and Advocacy in South Africa
