John 7:14 Not until halfway through the Feast did Jesus go

up to the temple courts and begin to teach. 15 The Jews were

amazed and asked, “How did this man get such learning without

having studied?” 16 Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my

own. It comes from him who sent me. 17 If anyone chooses to

do God’s will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from

God or whether I speak on my own. - (NIV84)

Colossians 1:15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.

He existed before anything was created and is supreme over

all creation, 16 for through him God created everything in the

heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and

the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and

authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through

him and for him.

Learning from the Teaching of Christ

1. God gave us Christ to deliver the Wisdom of God

2. We must be consistent in learning God’s Word

3. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom

4. Invited to a lifelong journey of learning & growth

5. God is the source of all Wisdom and knowledge
