Daniel's faith is exemplified in his steadfast devotion to God, even in the face of persecution and adversity. 

Two key stories highlighting his faith are his refusal to defile himself with the king's food (Daniel 1:8-21) and his defiance of the decree to only pray to the king (Daniel 6:10-23). 

These stories demonstrate a faith that trusts God, is strengthened by pressure, and is not passive, but actively seeks God in prayer and obedience. 

Hebrews 11:1, which states, "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."
