2500 years ago, a Temple of gold rose in Jerusalem, designed by King David, built by King Solomon, at G-d's request.

410 years later, it lay in ruins.

Seventy years passed, and a new Temple for G-d rose in its place. But it, too, was destroyed -- 1950 years ago.

How can we fathom G-d's home reduced to rubble? What force -- earthly or otherwise -- could topple G-d's abode here on earth?
