Learning How to Love - Part 29
"Difference & Oneness"
With Rabbi Ari Sollish
(Recorded live in Atlanta on June 7, 2020)
This we know with certainty: we're not all the same. Every human being is different. Unique. One-of-a-kind. We look differently. We feel differently. We think differently. We desire differently.
And yet, we are all the same. We come from the same Source. We share the same spiritual DNA. We maintain the same core purpose. We walk this earth together for a common good.
Which evokes the thunderous question:
How do people who share so much in common feel so differently about each other? How is it that we see each other as the "other" when in fact they and we are one and the same?
Simply put, if we are indeed one, then where does our sense of differentiation come from?
In this session of Kabbalah & Coffee we trace the divine origins of human difference and oneness. We'll seek to better understand the dual me/we dynamic -- its manifestations, its challenges, and its opportunities.
