Rest is only optional if you don’t care about how you FEEL. If you only care about how it all LOOKS, then sure… ignore your body. It’s the path that most people seem to take.
If you’re anything like me though, you’ve tried that way already and it led to a miserable crash and burn.
To me, the point of SUCCESS is to feel deeply fulfilled by life. Keyword: FEEL. Without rest, ‘success’ is just survival-mode in disguise and it will NEVER allow us to feel what we’re really longing for — security, peace, wellbeing, freedom.
In this episode, I explore why rest can feel so uncomfortable for us to integrate into our lives, and how our resistance to slowing down often stems from deeper patterns of urgency, fear, and proving. You’ll learn a grounded framework for checking in with your body, honoring your capacity (shoutout to our last episode!!!), and releasing the need for external permission to accommodate your REAL needs.
Because if you can’t learn to accommodate for yourself, how can you expect others to?

27:43 — You don’t need a DIAGNOSIS from a ‘professional’ to give yourself the ACCOMMODATIONS that you need
29:00 — Comparing myself to others and self-judgement did NOT get me closer to my goals, it paralyzed me instead
35:10 — Stop trying to force other people to ACCOMODATE for you, when you don’t even ACCOMODATE for yourself
