On today's episode I was lucky enough to sit down with Adam Roscoe a Disaster Recovery Specialist and learn about the way that VALs, municipalities and federal government help people and businesses get back to a "new normal" following disasters. Adam let me know about skills and ways of thinking that fit well in this position as well as telling me about what it's like helping out a community and the details in what is expected of you when doing this work.
