In today’s episode of Learning the Fundamentals, we continue our Biblical Vocabulary series with the word “Trinity.”

There is only one true God. Scripture makes this abundantly clear:

“Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me.”

— Isaiah 46:9

Yet in the New Testament, God reveals Himself more fully. The Bible teaches that the one true God eternally exists as three distinct, coequal, and coeternal Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

In this episode, we’ll examine the biblical foundation for the doctrine of the Trinity and consider what Scripture teaches about who God is.
