Host Bio:
Amy started her small business as a hobby, and It turned into a business that grew so fast. Because of this, she did go through a lot of trial and error. One thing Amy wished she could have had along the way was a mentor to guide, support, and encourage her.
Amy’s passion now is to be that support for a woman as she goes through business and or to help her with that business support and laser focus on her goals and ideas.
The vision of Amy’s business is to be a safe space for women, a space where they can let go and be able to feel like themselves. To journey through knowing what it's like to be “me” (them). As women, we wear so many hats, and Amy’s heart is always to have the place where a woman can let go and be empowered by challenging her mind, body, and spirit.
Guest Bio:
Heidi was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to a father who was a national swim and dive champion coach and a mother who was a fitness instructor and coach. Her mom had a softer approach to fitness and fostered Heidi’s love of creative movement, exploration, and fun at home. This led to her introduction to a more disciplined sport of gymnastics from the age of 3 – 21.
Heidi found that within the gymnastics environment, everyone and everything was too rigid, leaving her fighting against the norm by changing her routines and not sticking to what was given. Most of the time, Heidi molded her routines into her own creative flair and even ended up choreographing for her peers and eventually her own students.
After watching an episode of Oprah where Shelia Kelly, founder of S Factor, introduced the world to mainstream pole dancing, Heidi began her own journey in pole, and after one class, she knew this was for her.
Heidi believes in being connected to and harnessing inner strength, creativity, and uniqueness. Through exploration, we ignite the courage to embrace who we are! Her mission is to empower people to embrace their vulnerability, live with courage and an open heart, and be curious about their potential on and off the pole.
