Have you ever wanted to spend time in God’s presence but felt distracted, unworthy, anxious, or unsure of how to begin?
God does not ask us to clean ourselves up before coming to Him. He invites us to come just as we are... with humility, honesty, and confidence in His love.
In this episode, I share how I prepare my heart to meet with God. This is not a formula or a guarantee that every encounter with Him will feel the same. It is simply a practical way I quiet my heart, surrender what I am carrying, and turn my attention toward Him.
We’ll talk about:
Coming to God humbly and without hesitation
Rejecting lies of shame and unworthiness
Remembering that Jesus has made a way for us to draw near
Casting our cares on God because He cares for us
Entering His presence with thanksgiving and praise
Trusting that God welcomes us exactly as we are
You do not have to become worthy enough to meet with God. You can come honestly, surrender what is weighing on you, and receive His love.
“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise.” — Psalm 100:4 NKJV
“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 NKJV
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace.” — Hebrews 4:16 NKJV
