Our first guest on the podcast in 2023 is Ying Qi Wong. As a Singaporean native, she's spent over a decade in the US, UK, and Switzerland for her education and academic career. After completing her PhD at Stanford, she moved to Switzerland where she is now a post-doc at ETH Zurich, specializing in volcanoes.

What really stood out in our conversation with Ying Qi is her ability to meet new people, and how she’s able to build a new network of friends everywhere she goes. Although this did not come naturally for her at first, it was developed through experience.
