Habitual discontent with life comes naturally to the fallen human heart. The world holds out its own version of contentment to those who have enough of what it has to offer, but true contentment is the priceless blessing of those who have learnt to trust in Christ no matter what their circumstances.-Biblical contentment is far more than passively tolerating whatever circumstance we find ourselves in. Rather, it is that state in which we have learnt to joyfully depend on the power of Christ, the sufficiency of God's grace, and the goodness of the Father's purpose in whatever situation we find ourselves in - a lesson worth learning even if it takes our whole life-
