20 years ago, when I was just starting my careers, my boss announced that a special visitor was coming to our office to present a report.

"There are three top consultants for international education in Australia" he told me, "There's Melissa Bank, Alan Olsen and..."

...and then there's today's guest, Rob Lawrence.

Rob has worked on countless projects across a wide range of organisations, both onshore and offshore, and covering both domestic and international education.

We start off talking about Rob's unexpected arrival in Australian international education and chat through some of his most interesting projects of the past couple of decades. Rob also gives his take on what students are looking for right now, and what institutions are going to have to do to thrive in a rapidly changing education landscape.
