Instead of doing a typical home office deduction, you can save more by leasing out your office space, and paying yourself from your business.   

When you lease space you are not limited by the space, you are finding the fair market value of the space instead, even if it is in your own home!  

Then come tax time, what you're going to do is deduct the amount that you had paid to lease that space, and deduct that on your tax return.
