Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 329 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond

Have you ever heard the expression, “Leave me alone”? It seems that when someone says this to you, or anyone else, this expression has a negative connotation. “Leave me alone” may sound like, “I don’t want to be with you. I don’t need you and I don’t want anyone around me. I just want to be by myself.”

The truth is, a “leave me alone” time can be the ultimate gift to yourself on a daily basis. Every single day we manage to go through obstacles, and at times try to overcome some of the most difficult challenges that we have in our life. Sometimes we succeed and other times it seems that we don’t succeed.

One thing is for sure is that we try our best. For those of us that do our utmost to overcome all these challenges, it may seem that we fail at doing what we want to do. There is no failure – failure is only when a person does not try, that is failure. But when someone gives their best and tries the most that they can, that is not failure. That is just an exercise which may need to be refined in one way or another.

On a daily basis, I strongly suggest that you have a “leave me alone” moment. This is a time when no-one and nothing, out there or close to you, should be in your way. This is a time for you to reflect and find out whether or not that day was as successful you wanted, or also the way that you would have liked it to have been.

The “leave me alone” moment is your time. It’s between you and the Creator to decide whether or not that day was filled with imagination that took you to a different level. It’s your time to decide.

It doesn’t always happen that you get what you want, but it always works out that if you are determined to have a better day on the next day, you will. So, “leave me alone” time is a time of reflection. It’s a time of introspection. Something where you and the Creator get together in a moment of urgency and say, “How was the day? What can I do to make it better? What can I do to become nice? What can I do to grow? Where can I go? Who should I see? What, perhaps, was the one aspect of the day which I wish I could have changed?”

By you doing this, you’re now prepared for the next day. When you say, “Leave me alone”, it is not necessarily negative.
