In this episode, we begin our discussion on Jesus’ teaching on anger. We reflect on why Jesus uses such stark language against anger, and go back to Cain and Abel, the first story of a horizontal relationship, to discuss how anger played a devasting role. We talk about whose anger we should care about (mine? Yours?) and how Jesus’ command to “leave your gift at the altar” relates to communion today.
