Why is it that we think it can’t happen here? We see it in other parts of the world. Collapsed economies, failed states, civil unrest, natural disaster that leads to hunger and starvation. The United States of America has had an unprecedented time of prosperity the last 100 years. However we can now see cracks in the veneer of our perceived invincibility. The weeks leading up to the pandemic showed us our just how tenuous our day to day life was. Do you remember standing in line to just try and get enough food to get you through the week ahead? The pandemic was not the last time we will see such things. We now have massive disruptions to our supply chain, inflation is at a thirty year high, thanks to silly government decisions business can’t get enough workers to make the goods and services we have grown to take for granted. Our economy seems to be teetering on the brink of recession. How would you and your family make it through? It is said in the scriptures if ye are prepared ye shall not be afraid. My hope is you can take the information from this episode and prepare with knowledge so that you may not fear. We will talk with an expert gardener who will provide more than just beginner information about how you can produce your own food in just the space you already live.
As I mentioned in the last episode this is an interview I had done on my first attempt at a podcast. I almost threw this audio out but the Spirit told me to hang on to it. The reason why is becoming all too apparent. The woman I interviewed is named Beuna. She is an expert gardener and garden shop owner. When I first interviewed her I was astonished at the amount of information she passed along. She gave more than just beginner knowledge. This last spring and summer I tried some of what she talked about and I was amazed that just by using what she talked about how good my own garden came in. I know you can have those same results.
