MPA alumni, Abdul Waheed Ahmad, is interviewed by current MPA student Derek Fried, about Waheed's experience fleeing from his home in Afghanistan in August 2021.

Waheed was a senior security official for the Afghanistan government. He oversaw security reform, working closely with the U.S. mission in Afghanistan and other international allies to build and sustain the strength of the state.
