Author and former NPR CEO Ken Stern talks about his new book, “Republican Like Me: How I Left the Liberal Bubble and Learned to Love the Right,” which is about his year with “the other side.” Stern is concerned about the increased polarization in our country and wants to find ways that people can compromise or at least understand each other better. If we agree on eight out of 10 issues, shouldn’t we work on those together instead of constantly fighting about the other two?
