Knowing and Doing God’s Will, is a 3 part series to start the New Year. Throughout scripture, God wants good for your life and blessing over cursing. First part is “Leaving Things Behind”. In Genesis 12, Abram (later known as Abraham) was living with his father and family in a place that worshipped idols. God told him to leave and go to a place I will show you. Before we can get into our good, we have to get out of the bad. It takes motion and action….and guts. And depending on just how deep we may be into an issue, it may take some digging to get out. But you can’t have blessings like God would want for you if you are in the middle of bad. My hope is that Knowing and Doing God’s Will, will give you hope to move forward with God.
