WILL AI REPLACE HUMAN?
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a technology that has been around for decades. Many businesses today are using artificial intelligence (AI) to improve customer service and operational efficiency, among other things, and allow businesses to save money while providing convenient and additional services to their customers. employees and their customers.
In the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E), the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) has adopted ChatGPT to recommend “.ae” website domain names to SMB owners. Entrepreneurs can register the domain name of their choice immediately by choosing an accredited domain registrar from the list displayed, and complete the transaction in minutes.
Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Baidu, IBM, Microsoft, Google are the pioneers in artificial intelligence (AI). They have developed digital assistants (Chatbot) that learn and evolve to provide increasing levels of personalization as they collect and process information. By using chatbots, a company can provide proactive, personalized and human service to millions of people at the same time.
Artificial intelligence is growing and changing the way we live, work and play. It can help us to manage our lives better, to improve business efficiency, to find solutions to unsolvable problems until today.
IS AI REPLACING HUMAN WORKERS?
In a rapidly changing environment, there is no doubt that artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming every aspect of our lives. AI is both a driver of innovation and a risk for the job market, specifically for positions with mundane, repetitive activities and without added value.
Technology, while creating new opportunities, eliminates and/or modifies certain positions while creating new opportunities pushing workers to adapt continuously. AI should be able to improve human performance by helping workers to be more efficient and productive in their tasks by assisting them in activities such as data analysis and decision-making.
The human component of work must be prioritized as AI takes over more and more jobs. Human-specific abilities, such as empathy, creativity and interpersonal skills, will always be needed for many professions.
CONCLUSION
AI is currently booming and is affecting more and more sectors of activity. It allows us to rethink the world of work and encourages us to acquire new skills. Only the appropriate and continuous education and training of our societies will allow a positive transition to this new era of work where new jobs and new industries will emerge.
Institutions and societal regulations need to be reassessed in light of the development of AI. Governments and organizations will have to put in place policies for new types of social assistance (i.e. universal basic income) for people whose jobs have been eliminated by artificial intelligence, giving them the time and the financial means to retrain or explore other career options.
