Hadith 1:
It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (ra) said: The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'Whoever shows enmity to a close friend of Mine, I shall declare war on him. My slave does not draw close to Me by doing anything more beloved to Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My slave continues to draw close to Me by doing supererogatory deeds until I love him. When I love him, I will be his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. If he were to ask Me for something, I would surely give it to him, and if he were to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything that I do as much as I hesitate about taking the soul of the believer; he hates death and I hate to hurt him.'
