Why was this man born blind? What is the sins of his mother or the sins of his father that had this man be born blind?

Jesus replied neither. This man was born blind for the glory of God.

We tend to curse the conditions rather than celebrate the opportunity to reveal the workings and presence of Spirit. It is most challenging for us to wrap our human thinking around divine intention. There is Spirit in every condition. Our job is to reveal that presence to others in life and that is what it means to be led by Spirit.
