This Pentecost Sunday our Worship Leader Ben Webb preached about the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives today from Romans 8:12-17.

The Holy Spirit leads the believer in Jesus…

✨ From death to life 

✨ From slavery to adoption

✨ From destitution to riches 

Be led by the Spirit…

…Do not try to put the flesh to death by the power of the flesh

…Daily put to death the deeds of the body through the Spirit

To what are you a debtor?

  1. Are you a debtor to the flesh, separated from God by your sins, and a slave to the very thing that brings you death?
  2. Are you a debtor to the Spirit, adopted by Christ as a child of God, and freed to know the life that God gives?
  3. Are you a child of God, yet living as if you were still obligated to live according to the flesh? Allow the Spirit to lead you out into the freedom that He gives to the believer.
  4. The Holy Spirit leads the believer in Jesus from death to life, from slavery to adoption, from destitution to riches.
