Uintah County commissioners adopted an ordinance to make their county a Second Amendment sanctuary -- a first in Utah. The county joined more than 400 municipalities in 20 states, which have passed laws opposing the enforcement of certain gun laws passed by state or federal lawmakers.

Lee reached out to other county commissioners to see if they were considering similar moves.
