Located about 170 miles north of London, Leeds is the largest city in West Yorkshire and is the cultural, financial and commercial heart of the county. As with all major cities in the UK, Leeds is very LGBT+ inclusive and there are many LGBT+ events throughout the year including the Leeds Queer Film Festival, the Leeds LGBT Literature Festival and Leeds Pride. It's a warm and welcoming city ... but it has a dark past.
