This is a story about the family perspective of what makes a farmer take a drastic step of committing suicide. The frustrations of farming, lack of solutions. Katol is not too cold or arid, it is a good farming weather but is still facing a situation where farming is unprofitable. The interest of farmers children and the farmers in farming shows no trust in agriculture infrastructure and hope in the system. Leeladhar is not a new farmer but a second generation farmer and is dealing with the degradation of the occupation.
