Welcome to the Left of Str8 Interviews. Today, I have the incredible opportunity to chat with a seasoned Pixar veteran, Bret Parker. You know I love me some comics, animation and superhero’s and after seeing her and her wife’s amazing animated short film “Pete” that premiered at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival which went on to win accolades across the country and the world. I knew I had to have her on to talk about her work and career.
With an impressive 26 years of experience at Pixar Animation Studios, Bret has been a driving force behind the creation and animation of over 20 iconic films, including the Oscar-winning "Finding Nemo" and "The Incredibles. Bret is not only an accomplished animator but also a talented voice actress, contributing her skills to bring Pixar's magical worlds to life. As we delve into her remarkable career, we'll explore the artistry and magic behind the scenes of some of our favorite animated films AND her own work in storytelling through documentaries and animation, so please welcome to the Left of Str8 Show for the first time, Bret Parker.
